I suppose it depends on if he can get enough participants. Hmmm....a travesty, or not? http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/...ld-trump-debate-invitation-ron-200958185.html
well, having a con man like Trump "host" it (even if he's just hosting it in the sense of where it is done, and obviously not as the moderator) is, as Huntsmans' spokesman said, beneath the dignity of the office.
My kneejerk reaction was, "How effing stupid!" but... I don't know that Donald Trump is any less qualified to moderate than some of the people who do so in other debates. Trump is a joke as a politician, but as one who provides and delivers entertainment he's quite good. I'm not sure who will attend and I'm not sure who (or why!) someone would broadcast it, but if there's the possibility of substantive conversation/debate, I don't think it will hurt anything. Ed O.
Trump should make a reality show starring only dropout candidates. As each candidate drops out, add them to the cast.
Politically speaking. You tend to simply post baseless drivel in the GOP or conservative-based threads. Just my opinion, though.
This is hardly baseless drivel: Trump should make a reality show starring only dropout candidates. As each candidate drops out, add them to the cast. 1. After famously failing in a dozen or so diferent career fields, Trump's nearly singular talent seems to be producing reality shows that make money off other people's misfortunes and America's thirst for following these misfortunes with bated breath. 2. Soon there will be enough dropout candidates to field such a show, and the quirky personalities of each certainly rival the cast of any other reality show. 3. Finally, most of the candidates who drop out are either already at the pinnacle of their success and need to line up their next career, or are far past it and desperate for attention. ps Having some Dems in the mix would be great but apparently they are all too chickenshit to run against Obama.
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politic...backs-out-of-debate-floating-independent-bid/ FWIW, I think he'll potentially endorse Gingrich and his impending sidekick Santorum.....who, as it turned out, were the only ones to accept his debate invitation. Them debating each other wouldn't have boded too well.
