    Dark Horse ?

    Sheeyat

If this came to be you wouldnt want to kick this (dark) gift horse in the mouth ...but I suspect there will be much horsing around around before this gets properly resolved

There will surely be many who are jockeying for position to acquire this stallion

Anyhoo... what or who to deal

Well call me stark raving bonkers ...HOWEVER.... I would not deal Joakim

I would deal Omer, Boozer, Deng , Brewer, Watson and the Charlotte Bobcats pick

    for

Howard, Turkoglu , Reddick and Duhon

I would then make a hard play for DeShawn Stevenson with partial MLE money

    Howard
    Noah
    Turkoglu
    Reddick
    Rose

    bench

    Thomas
    Gibson / Scalabrine
    Korver / Jimmy Butler
    Stevenson / Bogan
    Duhon

    Who's got wood ?

The Madge would shape up thusly

    Asik
    Boozer
    Deng
Richardson ( assuming they bring back Jason not Quentin )
    Nelson

    bench

Vet Big to be acquired / Orton
    Bass / Andersen
    R.Brewer
    Watson
    Arenas

That's not a bad team that at least is a play off team ...maybe wait a few years for the horrid contract of Arenas to come off and that coincides with Boozer , Deng and Nelson's expiry and they have a clean slate and what will likely be a pretty valuable lottery pick of ours ( via Charlotte ) when they themselves will be rebuilding through the lottery

Not the worst strategy they could pursue

And before people look for something sharp when they read Hedjob ( the b is silent ) is our starting SF and JJ Hotpants is our SG ....I will say to you ......

Suck it up and don't breathe through your nose when your chowing down that shit sandwich....HOWEVER....

Hedjob gives you your secondary ball handler on the floor that would let Derrick play off the ball some ...which means you really just need a guy to stand in the corner who can load up and shoot ( his load ) ...and with that I give you JJ Hotpants

Defensively ...JJ is pesky but not good enough to go hard after the true gamers..but Deshawn truly has form and would be a terrific guy to platoon the 2 with JJ Hotpants.

Ok ..Hedo is foul defensively ...but this is mitigated by having Superman and Noah at the back

Offensively ...with regards to his shot ...I hear Noah's got arc and has floating around the globe all summer ..balling it up and hollering "let it rain! " as he's been releasing that bad boy . BADABOOM ! BADACHING !

I'm here all week folks . Try the Veal.

    FJ,

I think they trade Howard and filler. I don't see them giving up Reddick.

They surely would want us to take Hedo's big long contract, too.

I would want Noah back so I have a decent replacement. And they get to pick any 3, so I figure they'd want Boozer and Deng, too.

Think so too. Isn't Rose & Howard a good way to start a new team? But very unlikely, isn't it?

It would be interesting, but we would be weak at SF and SG still.

Howard, Taj, and Asik are quality bigs. Hedo and Korver at SF? Meh.

The rumors that the Bulls are chasing every small forward suggests that they are completing due diligence, in the event that that Howard will accept a sign and trade to the Bulls. Otherwise, the Caron Butler, Grant Hill, Mike Dunleavy, Danny Granger types don't make a ton of sense. None of those guys are shooting guards, and the Bulls are already stacked with backup small forwards. The Bulls must think there's a chance Luol Deng will not be their small forward on Christmas Day.

Interesting view. But I don't buy this yet.
