It makes me want to puke for even putting this to pen, but I can see how the Lakers could end up with both Howard and Paul.

Now I wish the lockout had never ended without the owners pulling the plug on this shit.

Shaq was hands down the most dominant player in basketball at his peak, teams were building their rosters around how to slow him down. Shaq was the best player in the league and #2 was far inferior. Dwight is in the conversation for best player but he is no where close to as dominant as a prime Shaq. Rose at this point of his career is probably superior then what we thought of Kobe at that point of his career though, we've since learned Kobe was a legit MVP-talent but at the time he was viewed as more of a top12 NBA player.

Sure you can make a legit argument to compare Shaq/Kobe to Howard/Rose, but the former duo is far superior IMO.

Statistically Shaq was not nearly as good on offense as LeBron or Kobe actually. It was his monster rebounding that got him to be a 30 PER level player.

Shaq is not as efficient (free throws, passing, shot attempts) as LeBron or Kobe, and he is not the best defender in the world. His Win Share totals are a bit lower than you would suggest.

Well you should dislike Rose more, because he's not really the MVP of the league and relies on his teammates.

Also Chicago already crushes Wade almost every time they play, let's not get carried away with him either. I don't think they'll be as good as the Heat and Howard seems more interested in the Nets/Lakers/Mavs anyway. :)
