I was thinking about suggesting the FG% thing too, but I didn't want to try to add more to the already generous terms. But if the whole thing is about Roy being valuable to the team, then yeah, that should probably be in there.

Okay buddy. After this is finished, I better figure out the total payout and put it into some savings account.

Okay Roy must shoot at least 43% or higher. Will be added to this bet. Wow I am fucking crazy. Oh well.

Hey--rookie-year Brandon did basically what you're betting on (except he was a little short on games played), and that was in a year where Zach was the unquestioned top player/black hole on the team. If he's healthy enough to play the games & minutes you listed, no reason to think he can't do the rest.

That's kinda what I'm hoping for. The Brandon of "Rookie of the year". He obviously was #2 yet he helped his team. Those numbers would give room for Aldridge to have an allstar caliber year. Hopefully it pans out.

Well the 43% thing would make me consider it, at first I was thinking hell no since your terms seemed attainable with Roy playing like shit. Year that makes it more fair.

But now that I think about it more I just don’t want to have a long multi month bet where I have to continually root against someone who is a part of my favorite team.

i think mags is gonna take all yalls money, if everyone wanted better odds you could just go to a sportsbook, im sure youd get better than +50 odds on -----16.5 ppg...

and for the record mags, your going to have half the board rooting for roy to fail now :(

I respect that 100%. I haven't rooted against a single player on this team until they leave the team. Well hopefully you are wrong and I win this bet. Like I said above. I'd probably just take the winnings and buy a couple tickets for one of you guys anyways. :P

Then don't root against the player. Root against yourself. Take the bet, and hope you lose. Or, the way I'm looking at it is--"buy" good production from Roy, and get a 150% refund if he fails to deliver.

Yeah I know people who do this, they bet against their school in the big bowl game so either they get a big win and are happy or they lose and get a bunch of money. You win either way right?

But I look at it like you also are guaranteed to lose. meh

Well not exactly Draco. Basically Roy could average 16 points a game and hit all the other marks and I still lose. Doesn't mean you want Roy to fail. You just don't want Roy to score an average of 16.5 points a game. The others you can hope for like 80% of the games played, shooting over 43%, etc.

Well Mags, I'm in for $50 and hope you win!

regardless of who wins, I might need to be reminded. But if you win, It will be a pleasure to ship the cash.

    Peace
