I hope not! He'll probably go to the Cubs if rumors are correct.

I didn't think that 1B/DH was the Angels' problem last year. Assuming that Pujols is a 1B/DH everyday, and Bourjos and Trout are everyday outfielders, this means is that one of Trumbo, Wells, or Hunter aren't sniffing the field.

Getting CJ Wilson is a good step, too. I don't think you closed the gap all the way on the Rangers, but Arte did his best to outshine Jeff Loria today.

I think we closed the gap to the Rangers. We blew a shit load of saves last year that really hurt us. Reports are circulating around twitter that we've got a deal in place to trade Trumbo and pieces for Andrew Bailey.

I love our starting rotation--Weaver, Haren, Wilson, Santana is right there underneath the Phillies. If we can patch up or bullpen, we are right there with Texas.

if the Trumbo-for-Bailey trade comes across, forget what I just said. That's almost unfair.

Forget what the Seattle media says...I'd give Prince 10/200 right now and stick him at 1B/DH and watch him hit 40HRs to right field every year. Guy's more like Papi than Mo Vaughn.

We are about to sign a TV deal worth at least $3 billion.

Trumbo + pieces for Bailey was a false tweet.

LA almost had a field day with players yesterday.

Trumbo I don't think is going anywhere. The dude can flat out hit, and with him & Albert swapping between DH/1B..that's money.

DiPoto is really high on Trumbo. I think they'll give him a chance to play a decent 3B this year. He's great power protection in the lineup for Pujols. I like Trumbo a lot.

Hopefully Morales can get back to being a decent offensive player and be our DH. Look to trade Abreu, eat some of his contract, for relief help.
