It sucks if they land Howard, for sure. Is that the only trade available for Orlando? Is it the best trade? Worst trade? it sucks that the Lakers one dip into the lottery, or close, they landed a very good, but oft injured C to an otherwise goo dteam. And that they can then use that player as a trade chip. Usually, teams are goo dbecause they make good decisions. And obviously, luck plays into it. They took bynum. Same draft, we traded down to get Webster and Jack. Did the NBA make us do that, or did we just have an idiot running our draft?
NBA Where the conflict of interest happens... It amazes me that the owners accepted the NBA owning a team. WOW!
Steve Kyler @stevekylerNBA Needless to say... Hornets not making the deal being reported... still talking, no clear cut frontrunner... Gotta love rumor season.
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA The Hornets are near a deal to send Chris Paul to the Lakers for Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom, league source tells Y! Sports.
blah, fuck the lakers still. this is better for them actually. Gasol in my mind was their MVP when they won last.
Awesome if that reduces the chances of getting Howard. Howard is 26 years old today and IMO much more of a force to deal with.
Interesting... Which hurts the Lakers more, giving up Gasol, or giving up Bynum and Odom? I think Gasol is a bit underrated by Laker fans and Bynum is overrated, but giving up both Bynum and Odom severely hurts the Lakers' front court size and depth. But, that becomes a moot point if they get Howard. But, if they give up Bynum and Odom to get CP3, do they have the still have enough pieces left to get Howard? If so, who? So many permutations... BNM
fuck: @WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski Correction: The proposed deal to the Lakers is Chris Paul for Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom, source says.
shes prob freaked steve was included lmao kristenblake2 kristen blake Is this trade rumor CP for Bynum/Odum straight up? Do the salaries match? Throwing anyone else in there/getting anyone else?... 1 minute ago Favorite Retweet Reply
Short term I think the Lakers are worse off (with sending Pau instead of Bynum), but long term, if Bynum (and CP3) can stay healthy they have a new young(ish) core at PG and C, the two positions hardest to fill Unless they can send Bynum +scraps for Howard, which I doubt
