My favorite part of this deal? We screwed the Celtics. Twitter reports had them lining up a physical for CP3!
I'll be interested to see how this actually plays out on the court. Maybe you saved the Celtics and screwed yourselves?
Talking of physicals, I'd like to hear how Paul's knee checks out. Wouldn't that be funny, if he failed his physical...
as long as Howard doesn't get to the Lakers, I'm ok with this, but if Howard goes, then fuck the nba. The finals would already be set, LA and the Heat. I wouldn't go to a single game.
After what Bynum did in Game 4 of the Dallas series last year, how is Bynum the centerpiece of ANY trade? The guy is a loose cannon thug, and is a headache waiting to happen for any other team. Plus he's NOT THAT GOOD.
What is Houston thinking doing this trade? Is Gasol>Scola, Martin, Dragic? The two best players on that team are now Gasol and Kyle Lowery.
If the rumours are true, the Lakers are giving up a solid amount of talent (and a ton of versatility) in the deal. They are also taking a lot of risk on. Trading two healthy starters for one damaged goods star. And they are willing to risk that star with no contract extension. Gutsy. Now, they have to pray for health with Kobe struggling to stay healthy and Paul and Bynum with bad wheels. I do wonder what Houston is doing. It seems they are giving up a lot to be the facilitator of this deal.
FisolaNYDN Frank Isola NBA should re-release the schedule. Lakers, Heat, Celtics, Bulls, OKC, Mavs and Knicks now play each other 11 times. No one else matters. ouch
If the Lakers do end up winning another title soon, then they should be giving rings to Chris Wallace, Daryl Morey and most likely Otis Smith.
