I don't care what Quick believes. I want to know what Fez Hammersticks thinks.

I wouldn't worry about what Quick believes. Blazers coach Marc Iavaroni would never let that happen.

    Radio with Canzano.

Of course, Canzano fully agreed with Jason.

I dont understand why this gets posted. It's just his opinion. We dont need a new thread for every opinion that is out there.

I read Canzano thinking it was Quick on the subject. Not sure what he thinks the Blazers should have done differently with Oden once he got injured. He says Duffy played them. I would have done exactly the same as the Blazers have done. They had no choice.

No one on this planet can certifiably predict the future. Let's all remember that for a second.

I'm excited to let the story unfold as the season comes near. Not much more to it than that. The Blazers level of play will first and foremost dictate everything.

If Oden plays well enough to get a good pay-day but wants to leave, wouldn't it be in both sides best interest to do a sign-and-trade - Oden gets more money, we at least get something in return?

We can all channel NateBishop3 and make a list of why Oden will exit Portland next season and we can all look at the new CBA and see about $20 million in incentives for him to stay. In the end, his health, what he can do on the court this season, and how the Blazers perform will impact what happens way more than any jaded reporter's or message board aficionado's ponderings on the subject. I'm content to see how it plays out, but if some of you want to run around in circles with a cloud of doom over your head, have at it.

Jesus Christ, did everybody forget their meds? Can we just enjoy the present? For what it's worth, Oden got cleared to practice today.

Cool. Here's hoping the Blazers go on an unholy tear and Oden is so overcome with feelings of camaraderie and the joys of winning that he he stays for life ...

I'm thinking if Oden wants to go to a specific team under the cap, then it would be harder for Oden to do such as that team would have to maneuver a trade and lose some of the talent that Oden is going there to be with so might as well just sign with them. If Oden wants to go to a team over the cap, then yes that would be necessary. And if Oden doesn't care where he's going and just wants the most money, then yes that would be best but then he should stay in Portland (most $$). If he just wants money and wants to get out of Portland, it'd be advantageous yes and perhaps he'd do it for the chance of going to a contending team.

tl;dr: If Oden wants to go to a specific under-the-cap team, no. Otherwise, yes.

At least that's my thinking. Feel free to correct me.
