wait a minute, i thought dwight was only going to LA! WTF? maybe cp3 to la had nothing to do with howard?.............
And another FYI. New jersey would have enough cap space to get Howard if the magic choose not to do the trade. Basically it is all howards choice. He can just as easily go there no matter what.
I think lopez and picks makes sense for howard and hedo. NJ gets the better end of the deal and it makes deron happy. will the league block this one too?
No they would not block the nets. The lakers are like SC, it's not what they do, it's how arrogant they are when they do it that gets them trouble. (kidding)
Well it does give Orlando to free up a ton of cap. Basically the ability to amnesty arenas, lose Turks bloated contract and have a tangible center and two first rounders. As a laker hater, I endorse this!
This news comes out hours after the Paul deal is nixed. Was Howard considering giving his blessing on a deal to the Lakers if they first got CP3? Perhaps when that fell apart he decided he wanted to be on the Nets. I remember when the Lakers first lost in the playoffs and Howard to LA rumors started, there were reports Howard wanted to eventually end up in a situation with another young superstar. He had concerns that Kobe was in his last few elite years and thus wasn't as interested in going to the Lakers as other big market teams.
not at all. But I don't think what happened was fair to anyone involved. The Hornets are the real losers here. That trade made LA worse this year.
correct. and the trade should have went through. all three parties agreed. the breakdown is the 29 owners dont have the hornets interests as a priority. they only care about their teams
