<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>After enduring four previous coaches, Stephon Marbury will finally have the coach that he wanted all along. Marbury attempted to convince Thomas on multiple occasions to coach the team, but it was not until Dolan named Thomas the team's head coach that he finally took the position. "I wanted him to be the coach before all of this," Marbury said late Saturday. "This is not brand new to me. I used to beg him, 'Why you don't coach? Why you don't coach?' Because I know that he knows how to coach. Since the firing of Larry Brown, Marbury has taken the high road when talking about his former coach.</div>God dammit Marbury is such a kiss ass. What happened to how he wanted Brown to continue coaching them so badly.http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...h_as_his_coach/
i was gonna say the same thing. Looks like someone doesn't want to get traded. I don't know why tho. I guess he enjoys leading his team down the tubes.
Too bad for Stephon, Isiah will probably be fired after the first 15 games and when they see what a complete moron he is at coaching as well as being the GM. Hopefully Dolan gets his head out of his ass and fires him.I'm not surprised that Stephon would like Isiah at coach. Isiah probably couldnt tell them anything and would just let them play. That's the sort of thing that Marbs likes to be able to do. That freedom out there.

I mean he didn't do great but he didn't do thay bad either.
Yeah... alright. I guess the next coach the Knicks hire after Isiah, Marbury will have "wanted him all along" as well. Or maybe when he's traded, he'll say that he always wanted to be traded!
He's crazy but does he have a basketball body! If I had that body and that much athletism I'd be the GOAT.
I just laughed when I read this. Haha come on Marbury, shut up. He has had so many messed up quotes in the last 5 months it's rediculous. Did anyone see him talk about friggen putting white laundary with blue laundary? He is an idiot, he has 7 opinions on 1 subject, and he should be getting paid nothing for his attitude/selfishness/idiocy.
