This is probably the saddest day i'v known as a Blazer fan. (was way to young to be that effected when Drexler was traded because he wasn't my favorite player).
I was around for Drexler time and he was my favorite player. This hits way harder. The main reason was right now broy proved he only bleed Scarlett and black. He didn't want to leave Portland. He loved us fans and this team. Drexler could still play and asked to be traded.
Still in fucking tears. UGGGGGG I still can't believe it. Just a terrible way to end a career. This will be my last memory of Roy.
He was an amazing player and human being. I really hope that the organization finds a spot for him if he would like to stick around. He would continue to be loved by this city.
Wow, theres lots of coverage on him. I am glad o-live did it. He will be one of my favorite Blazers. I am glad his family moved from Seattle to Portland. I have a feeling that fans will rise up from their seats when Roy is put on the big screen this shortened season.
There is no doubt in my mind that he will get a fitting tribute from the team. I expect a Brandon Roy night. Hell, they might even dedicate the season to Brandon.
