How do you figure Camby wasn't one of the worse offensive players in the league? He was 7' tall averaged 4.7PPG and shot 39% FG!!!

That is a remarkable stat, to be a big man who barely attempts any shots and shoot under 40%.

Small-time management just makes being a small-market that much worse.

    Talk about aiming low.

Seriously, we should just forfeit this season and wait until this summer when we actually have a real front office in place and a plan to execute.

I think the only people that are depressed are people who expected this team to compete. Which to me was silly given the injury history and Nate

Larry Miller is not a basketball guy. He doesn't know LaMarcus Aldridge from Channing Frye.

Apparently Cho was a puppet, so does Miller get credit for the Wallace trade?

I think it was all Miller, personally. He had the relationship with MJ to close this deal. Not sure who initiated it though. I wouldn't think scouts though

I value rebounding more than just about any poster on this board, but that's ALL Evans does. Other than rebounding, with Evans on the floor, it's like you're playing 4 on 5 - on BOTH ends. We all know he can't score, but he's also a poor defender (when not grabbing someone's junk). He's an undersized 4. Taller players shoot over him like he's not even there. Shorter players also shoot over him AND drive by him like he's not even there.

Yes he did. And, the 41 games Evans played in his last season in Seattle was the last time he posted a PER greater than 13.5 - and that was SIX years ago.

Anyone who pays Evans more than the mini-MLE and signs him for longer than two seasons (with the second a team option) will regret it.

Disagree on Camby. Yeah, he stunk on offense last season, but Evan stinks on offense and defense. ALL Evans does is rebound. In spite of Camby's awful offense last season, his PER was still 2.4 (14.8) points higher than Evans' (12.4).

Old, injured Marcus Camby blocked more shots in 59 games (92) last season than Reggie Evans has blocked in his entire 9 year NBA career (88). Camby is also a much better passer.

In other words, if we get Reggie Evans, we'll be good.
