So far, he has received no attention, so one player I had been thinking of was Kris Humphries. If NJ isn't interested in him(or orlando), it's more about giving them a small asset to send him here. babbitt, Armon and Barron(unguaranteed) combined, with the 150% +100,000 could bring us back Humphries at a first year salary of roughly 5.6 million. Don't know the payday he was looking for, but he's been largely ignored by the teams with cap space liek Indiana, it seems. Thoughts?
Wouldn't give up Armon but we definitely need a back-up big. Probably can't get Kris Humphries but hopefuly there's a plan for someone better than Jeff Foote.
I like Kris Humphries, but I'm not sure how trading a bunch of third stringers (who I wonder if they can't play in the league) is meeting any of New Jersey's needs.
Barron gets waived, and they add two young pieces for, essentially, nothing, if they have no plans of keeping Humphries. We could also likely send them $ to cover salaries.
In a summer where DeAndre Jordon is getting $10 million a year, there's no way we land Humphries without giving up significant assets. Gerald Wallace for a resigned Kris could work, but I wouldn't do it.
Really? Armon might be the worst PG the Blazers had since Erick Barkley. I doubt he'll be in the league in a few years.

Hump was a 10/10 guy last yr and i think 26 or 27 and can defend C's. Add in a sharp shooter like Morrow and hell yes I'd do it. You got a better idea?
I highly doubt that Wallace will opt out of the final year of his max contract. There's no way he gets that kind of money in the new CBA.
So you're going to trade one of our only good players for two "okay" players? I'm not opposed to moving Wallace, but we need to be getting something back that's better than Kris Humphries or Anthony Morrow.
if you think GWallace can get you more then fine - propose something, but I'm not so sure. I'd prefer Varajeo if Wallace could get us that but I'm not so sure he can.
What is your objective at this point? Trying to make the playoffs so we can get bounced in the first round? Filling out the bench? Retooling with young guys? The only way I move Wallace at this point is for lottery picks and young talent.
objective is to satisfy "some" important needs now like a quality backup PF that can defend C's and a sharpshooter off the bench. Nic gets full time at SF, and we still have capspace next summer to try to get or trade for another star level player who is better than G Wallace. Playoffs this yr are meaningless, I want to look to add pieces for the next 3-5 yrs and try for that impact player this summer either via FA or using capspace for a trade. What's your idea? All I see you doing is criticizing.
Like I said, I would be looking to add lottery picks or young talent. Shooting guard is okay for now, as is small forward and power forward. We need a center and a point guard. I have very little faith in Smith or Johnson.
you want lotto picks? not me, I'd rather acquire players that fit needs and "try" to use that upcoming capspace in getting a real impact player to go with LMA. IMO Hump and Morrow are nice pieces we will eventually need and Wallace is taking time from Nic at SF. We gotta take some chances, I think we need to take the chance Nic can really improve.
