Odom demanded to be traded this time. Wow.... http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/7341952/lamar-odom-requested-trade-david-stern-veto-source-says
This would be considered a disator if they can't get Howard. Here's hoping Howard somehow goes elsewhere.
Does Mitch Kupchak have voodoo powers? If the Utah GM agrees to THAT trade, we'll have to conclude as much. If I was the Jazz and I was offered a choice of Blake + Barnes (yeah, he's exactly the kind of player Utah always looks to acquire) or the trade exception the Lakers just got for Odom, it would be answer (b) by a landslide. (Either that or Utah has programmed Millsap to self-destruct, taking out the entire Lakers team, thereby making the Lakers' pick into a lottery pick.)
Where would you put him? He's good enough to be a starter in the league. He wouldn't be happy backing up Aldridge.
It has been rumored for a while that Utah was looking to dump Milsap. Apparently they did not want much of a contract back.
Hornets and Clippers talking trade. Hornets want: - Eric Gordon - Chris Kaman - Al-Farouq Aminu - Eric Bledsoe - Two first round picks (MN pick?) PG: Eric Bledsoe SG: Eric Gordon SF: Al-Farouq Aminu PF: TBD C: TBD Factor in the two high lotto picks and they are in decent shape for the future.
I don't think it's that bad. It's basically Gordon and the MN pick when you consider Aminu and Bledsoe are mediocre prospects. Kaman is basically a filler and will bolt after this season.
I'd say Aminu and Bledsoe are a little better than mediocre prospects. Both have a lot of upside IMO.
You start Aldridge at the 5 and West at the 4. Add Wallace at the 3 and that's one of the best starting front courts in the league. But, I don't think we were ever in the David West sweepstakes. So, moot point. It also assumes West has will fully recover from his injury. BNM
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt Several teams interested in Reggie Williams, rescinded by GSW to make room for DeAndre Jordan sheet. Williams worked out for Bobcats today. >>>> Shot 42% last season from three.
Somebody pointed out that the Clippers are the only team that could legitimately land both Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. Do the trade for Paul then trade Blake Griffin for Dwight Howard. Boosh! (People do love them some Blake Griffin, but does anyone seriously think he's going to be better than Dwight Howard?)
