Blowing a team up is a losers mentality. You rebuild on the fly, and with some luck you make the Finals. Tearing it down can work, but the track record of success stories compared to failures is pretty bad. If we had some guys who knew how to draft (our last couple of drafts have been horrendous) we would be in a lot better shape. Not everyone is as lucky as San Antonio with RC Buford or OKC with Sam Presti though.

I think the question of "blowing it up" is mostly irrelevant. With Roy's retirement and Oden yet again on the injured list, the Roster has mostly been blown up for them. Throw in the fact that Camby, Wallace, Felton, et al. are all near the end of their contracts (and career in Camby's case) odds are the roster will look very, very different in another year.
