Not surprising that GS would do something like this. They get a big with 6 fouls for the year while retaining there amnesty and keeping that 7 mill for next years FA.
It's Kwame "small hands" Brown. The dude is a big with a small's hands. He is arguably one of the worst bigs on the planet. At least at that price range.
Kwame isnt that bad. They overpaid him for one year instead of giving him guaranteed money for multiple years. Bigs are paid more and brown is a fine roleplayer
Chris_Broussard: Portland, NJ, SA, Washington, Denver also interested in Josh Howard. SA, NJ, Wash and Utah have shown most interest.
I don't really get why we'd go after Howard. His career is in the tailspin I'm expecting (but hoping against) Gerald Wallace will be in at any time: http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/h/howarjo01.html
Wow actually with the trading of Odom for TE and the possibility that the Lakers must offer Gasol and Bynum for Howard. I'm gonna say, short term, they will suck. But the reason I don't this; even though I think it makes them much worse, is their future. Kobe has 2-3 years left and Howard hasn't even reached his peak. I would hate for the Lakers not have to suffer.
blazersedge Broussard: Blazers "Interested In" UFA G/F Josh Howard Wasn't he the guy who refused to stand during National Anthem? If so, fuck him
I still can’t get over how stupid of a contract this is. Kwame is that bad, people justifying his crapyness reminds me of the Laker fanboys trying to say Travis Knight could be an acceptable PF somewhere. If Kwame is playing significant minutes your team is crap, plain and simple. The Warriors had a valuable asset in cap space, they could’ve acquired a valuable player that another team is dumping, like Lamar Odom or even Ronny Turiaf. The Warriors could have seen how the rest of the free agent pool works out; Nene, Stuckey, Crawford, Landry are available. They could have done absolutely nothing right now and used cap space during a trade. Instead they blew money on an atrocious player that is grouped into discussions with Olowakandi and Eddy Curry. One of those players is out of the league, one signed for the vet minimum, and the other signed for $7 million?
