His stint in Dallas didn't last long . . . http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7350826/sources-denver-nuggets-nene-agree-5-year-67m-plus-contract
Funny, we basically gave them Rudy, Faried, and Miller for Smith and Felton. Very interested to see how this pans out (The No GM Experiment)
I just think it's hilarious how that prima donna gets traded to the defending champs and starts making minutes demands before they've even played a single game.
I read here that the Blazers were going to rue the day that Rudy started for Dallas, and that Dallas was a perfect fit for him? He's an NBA afterthought, and I think it's hilarious he has to go play in Denver now for a coach that will limit his minutes even more than Nate did once he sees the "Ole" defense.
His contract dictates that he has one more year in the NBA. If he doesn't play here, he sits out a year.
Can't be true. Rudy was going to start for Dallas and be superduperawesome because Nate didn't know how to use him!!! :MARIS61::MARIS61:
Time to buy your Rudy gear now. Not too many bids. LOL ! http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro..._nkw=Rudy Fernandez&_sacat=See-All-Categories Aldridge has 2x the amount of stuff on ebay.
No, he will finally get a chance in an optimum situation because McMillan is the most boring coach in the NBA, George Karl coaches fast break, and now Rudy gets to play his style.
That really was the turning point in his career. He went from being a fearless slasher to a guy who wouldn't leave the three point line. Reminded me a lot of Derek Anderson after Juwan Howard undercut him in the playoffs.
I think it was the other way around. The report was that Dallas was trying to clear more cap space by moving Rudy and Brewer for nothing. Rudy got wind of it as he was waiting on Visa Issues and got pissed and asked for a buyout.
