<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>And BCB, there are still a few good wings left. Fred Jones, Stephenson, Ariza and Flip Murray, just off the top of my head..</div> None of them have been in talks with Raptors and I doubt you land one of them. Actually I'm confident you won't.

BC is reportedly inerested in Fred Jones. If that doesnt happen it's fine. We signed Anthony Parker. He will be able to backup Mo Pete. And in nxt years draft Im almost positive that we will take a 2, so we would be looking at Marcus Williams probably. I dont think Bryan Colangelo would want to draft Bill Walker because he reportedly has an attitude problem, and Colangelo doesnt like drafting young guys..<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (kingjamez @ Jul 12 2006, 11:04 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>What the hell? You know nothing about the Raps. Just be quiet man. It's for your best interest.

I think that there are many things for Toronto fans to get excited about, But I will say they miss this year, and are in next year. If this team can gell together I suppose they could make the play-offs, I mean come on, its the East.

Alot of you guys are downgrading the raptors for this coming season, maybe im biased as a Raptors fan but I honestly believe we have a decent chance. First look at our centers last year (arujo, loren woods, pape sow) all of which are pretty damn garbage, now we added a big body finally in Nesterovic. Now hes not gonna be the X-Factor of every game but he will bump and do all the dirty work to wear down the opposition. now look who we got rid of this offseason..Arujo woods e.williams bonner :(jamesvillaneuvamartinbarrett...in came the Magician, Andrea Bargnani TJ FordChris HumphriesPJ Tucker RashoParkerGaborjosa and possibly one more FA (i hear Salmons)I would definitly take TJ Ford over Mike James, yes James can score 20ppg but Ford can get players 20ppg (maybe a lil much, but u get the idea). Bargnani off the bench, I think he is being overlooked in N.America just because there have been alot of European busts, but he will contribute. Parker from what I hear is the best player in the world outside the NBA. Garbojosa can shoot the 3 and is a really hard worker. Humphries will be definitly better the Hoffa, unless Hoffa puts up double double numbers in Utah........ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahh. Sorry....so yeah with a more mature Bosh and Graham I think the Raptors are definitly heading into the right direction. Playoffs???Hard to say, but we are going to get more wins then we had in the previous 2 seasons.

Salmons? Never thought about him. I guess that would be a decent signing. He is a good slasher. That's something we need. If we got him, we'd have quite a few good slashers in Joey Graham, PJ Tucker, TJ Ford and John Salmons. I'd kind of like a shooter more, to replace Bonner and Mike James though..

It was pitiful. Jalen Rose and Matt Bonner guarded him for the other 1/4 of the game.. [IMG] So Mo Pete, IS NOT A GOOD DEFENDER. Kobe was pretty amazing in that game..Its cut down to show all points Kobe scored..If anyone wants it, tell me

Kobe dropped 62 in 3 Q's against the Mavs too. That doesnt make Josh Howard a bad defender. Kobe just exploded. And froms eeing highlights I can honestly say that Mo Pete did not guard kobe 3/4 of the time. That is bullsh** right there..

Theres a reason why MoPete and Bonner combined for 10 fouls..They got burned everytime Kobe drove on them..

I think they will get close, but probably miss it by a few games. You got: 1. Miami2. Bulls3. Cavs4. NJ5. DETThen you never know Wizards should make the playoffs, but you never know. Orlando will also be fighting to get in the playoffs. It be nice to see young team trying to get into the playoffs like Orlando, Raptors, Chicago now like a contender, Hornets from the West. The East should start to get better with Bulls like a contender now, or atleast close to one. And Orlando showed at the end of the season they will be a great team in the future. Raptors should be coming up into the playoffs soon.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Kobe dropped 62 in 3 Q's against the Mavs too. That doesnt make Josh Howard a bad defender.</div> That makes him a average defender. Griffin played Kobe better individually then anyone on our team, though it takes a team effort to manage Kobe. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Arujo woods e.williams bonner [IMG] jamesvillaneuvamartinbarrett...in came the Magician, Andrea Bargnani TJ FordChris HumphriesPJ Tucker RashoParkerGaborjosa and possibly one more FA (i hear Salmons)</div> Am I supposed to be impressed with who you lost and who you added. I don't see any movement towards the latter. You listed Parker/Gaborjosa two guys who have yet to do anything in this league. Add to that your number one pick, who will take time in Bargnani. PJ Tucker is a decent player but a bench player. Rasho is a average center, Kris Humphries is not good. He's a nice hustle player but that's about it. I'll give you Ford, but none those other guys you got, make me go WOW. Neither do the players you lost, so hence the straight line movement. Graham and Bosh will improve, but not crazy enough to off balance the unexperience and unproven potential/talent on your team.

We'll see I may be hyping up the Raptors too much but its always exciting to see new faces play for your favorite team, and the Raptors pretty much added 8 new faces to their franchise so its something to get excited about.-hahah that sentence sounds weird
