Leaving the team he seemed to be loyal too for more money? I am ashamed of Big Ben. He left the team that gave him the chance. He won an NBA title with them, They put there trust in him, and he left them to join Chicago for ONLY 2 more million dollars. He mentioned wanting more involved in the offense, Does he really think he will get that in Chicago with the scoers on that team? No way...

Wait the next Boozer in terms of injuries or because of not being loyal to his team? Him thinking he will get more involved in offense is a total joke, he has no post moves let alone a jumper. Most of his points came off open dunks or a quick shot in the post, nothing else. I think he will still play well defensively and grab his rebounds. I didn't like the fact he left Detroit who was the one that even gave him a chance in the first place but then again, money talks.

I don't blame him. It is his job. The Pistions weren't gonna win again with what they had and it didn't appear they were gonna make any changes, so he obviously felt it was time to move on. He went were he felt he was most wanted and Chicago was the place. They have a nice young core and are very deep, they are hungry to win and so is Ben.

He got more money, and if DET really wanted him they would have matched w/e he was offered.

I don't know how much capspace they have but sometime you have to put your footdown and hope something happens, if it doesn't move on.

I dont think Ben Wallace would fake an injury, so no. Ben Wallace had many great years with the Pistons, and I guess he just wanted to move on. People shouldnt hassle him for that; it's his decision.

i know what you mean james. But now he is possibly in a better situation with a team on the rise, getting $15 mill! I don't like his decision, but it's not like he went to a horrible team for the money.

Detroit is an old team and doesn't appear to want to make any changes. Chicago is a team full of good young players on the uprise plus they offered him more money. IMO Ben was smart to do this. Seriously though guys you are forgetting that the NBA is basically a business and more money talks. Why don't you guys go and be an NBA player and see how easy it is to turn down a team offering more money to stay loyal.

Also, Carlos Boozer said he would sign, but then went back on his word. In the beginning Ben laid down what he wanted by the Pistons, and made no guarentees he would sign. So it really isnt stabbing your team in the back as much as Boozer did.

I don't blame him either. And if you have a problem with the coach like he did it makes it pretty tough to stay there.

The Bulls are a team on the rise while the Pistons are possibly on the fall and the Bulls offered more money.

I just think they cought a bad break this time when they played Miami. I still think they are better then Miami as a team.
