Forgot about that. Salaries tab has yet to be updated. Orlando may want him in a S&T though. He certainly can stay healthy better than Bynum. Forgot about Butler too. It would have to be a deal this year with Jordan being the centerpiece.
All the reports from his last knee surgery said he still had a partial meniscus in the repaired knee, but the doctors expected there to be some bone-on-bone rubbing. The meniscus in his other knee is fine. He's not in Brandon Roy territory yet, but could be headed that way with one of his knees. Another tear to the remaining meniscus in the repaired knee could require removal of the remaining meniscus and a total bone-on-bone situation. BNM
cp3 and his wonky knees for 4 lottery picks (kaman, gordan, aminu and this years unprotected minny). clippers got robbed.
Doesn't it say a lot about the Clippers that fans of other teams aren't screaming, they're like "oh, that's nice!" and tousling the team's hair.
"Its collusion by the league! the deal was GOOD!" uhhhh...the hornets just got a way much fucking better deal. "SHUTUP. ITS A CONSPIRACY!"
So far the Laker's big move is to dump Odom for a traded player exception and lose out on CP3 and Howard. Makes my little heart glow.
If the Clips are able to manuever for Howard, it was worth it. If not, they gave up way too much. You would have thought other teams with stars wanting out would have offered to take less than what the Clips gave up.
I'm going out on a limb here that Orlando isn't interested in trading Howard for a deal where DeAndre Jordan is the centerpiece... Clippers made a hell of an acquisition today, but their blunder two days ago in matching Jordan cost them a chance of becoming Miami West.
thats a big gamble based on his well documented knee problems especially when u considered he's over reliant on quickness.
After seeing Kwame Brown get a 7M dollar deal and Nene 14M per year, my guess is somebody would take Jordan and also give compensation. The Paul trade frees up a couple of million and an amnesty of Williams puts them in position for a max contract. They could also move Ryan Gomes/Randy Foye or give both buyouts. I would rather take the 4 #1's, salary relief, and Brook Lopez, but you never know what is really being offered.
