Looks like things are still shakey for Matin in Denver...http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/414..._much_progress/
Possibly. They need a big man, and if they traded Rose (expiring contract), and some others it could work out. Plus, their probably the only ones to be stupid enough to take on that contract.

Frye, Curry, Lee, Butler(if resigned), Taylor, and Rose. They don't need Martin in the least bit. Plus he is not really a big man, when I think big man I think someone who can play the 4/5.
Exactly, none of those guys have proven anything. I'll go to Realgm.com and make a trade scenario right now.How about Mo Taylor, Malik Rose, 2007 2nd round pick for Ruben Patterson and Kenyon Martin. Why for the Knicks? They get a good PF who will give can run the floor and give them athletic dunks and also get an expiring contract in Patterson who is a good wing defender and a real SF that they can use.Why for the Nuggets? KMart has been feuding with the Nuggets organization, and it would be a smart move to get rid of him because his presence could hurt the team demanour. They get Mo Taylor's expiring contract and more depth at Center and PF which they need because Camby and Nene are both pretty injury prone. This way they can just start Nene at PF and have Mo Taylor and Malik backing him up. Also, they dont really need Patterson because their team's superstar, Carmelo plays SF and would take up 40 mpg there. Najera could back him up. Also, with the early 2nd round pick, they could pick up more young talent, which is something they dont have much of.What do you guys think?

Patterson is a starter for the Nuggets. They don't need Rose or Taylor. The Knicks don't need to add another huge contract that is gonna take away from about the only good thing they have going, Channing Frye. You say that none of those guys have proved anything, well Frye put up the same numbers as Martin last season, his rookie season. Mo Taylor has proved more then Martin, when Mo gets minutes he puts up decent numbers. Malik is an intangibles guy. Horrible trade.
Denver gets robbed in that trade, trading two of their starters for some crap-ass big men. If Denver is going to trade Patterson and Martin to the Knicks, they should get Jamal Crawford and a future 1st rd pick.
You're probably right. They would probably need a SG if they were to do that trade. That is their biggest need.

If this happens AI, and Melo wow nice 1, 2 punch.
