Yep, not to mention the fact that he will be able to opt out of his contract in three or four more years, becoming an unrestricted free agent, if he feels Cleveland isn't the right situation for him. That doesn't silence any of the "LeBron will leave Cleveland" speculation, however you have to admire the business tactic by LeBron and his agent Leon Rose.

He can leave if that team won't be doing good earlier then if he signed the other contract. And he would be able to make more money. Melo, and Wade will probably do the same now. So they should thank Lebron for this. lol
