If the Pistions are not able to nab a FA guard they will likely go after Knight...http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic.../607100407/1127
I dont know if Knight would want to backup Chauncey Billups. I actually see him re-signing. He's in a better situation in Charlotte..

And Raymond Felton has basically passed him up.
I like this guy. He is a great passer and an ok slasher to the basket. I would take him to our squad anyday.
I think Detroit is more interested in Chucky Atkins again, but I'd welcome Brevin to the club with open arms.

The Bobcats are the team that gave him a chance, and I think he would rather stay there then backing up Chauncey Billups, who plays 36 minutes a game..Also, I dont think the Pistons have a shot at the title anymore. Rasheed is getting older, and he looked pretty bad in the '06 playoffs. They lost their defensive leader in Ben Wallace. I see teams like the Heat, Cavs, heck, even the Bulls better than the Pistons in the ECF now.

So I would expect him to get less minutes no matter what this season.
Wha? Felton is only a 2nd year player, and who would back him up? They need to keep Brevin imo, because Felton is still a young'n. He needs a good backup.Edit: I still expect him to get close to 20 mpg if Felton is going to start.

And if Tony Delk can get 16 mpg in Det I think Knight can get 20 mpg. :dribble:
Tony Delk is a combo guard, so he got time behind Rip Hamilton too. I doubt Brevin could get the same minutes because he isn't able to play SG.

He'd have alot better shot at the finals with Detroit than he would at the playoffs in charlotte.
Who cares? I bet he would rather get more minutes and mentor a young PG then sit on the bench 3/4 of the game on a playoff team..

That's what Hunter gets, so I think Knight would get more time than that. They could move Chauncey over as the scoring guard, and boom there you go.
I think if he wants more minutes he should stay with the Bobcats. But if he wants to win then go to DET. Yes it be hard to win with out Big Ben now, but they got a chance unlike the Bobcats.
why would someone pick minutes on a team that won't make the playoffs in 3 years over a team that still has a shot at the title? It's not like Knight would never play, he could get 20-25 minutes in Motown, which should be plenty.
