Whenever I flip to ESPN: Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow. Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow, Tim Tebow. Annoying as hell. You'd think it was the 2nd coming or something. Those ESPN guys always need someone to masterbate too.
Living in Denver, obviously we get a lot of Tebow coverage. It's everyone else making a fuss. This is just a good kid, being himself. And what isn't discussed is how huge he is. His touchdown today was from shedding a 250 lb LB like he was a fly.
love him or hate him, he's the biggest story this season (now) It's b/c it gets ratings. Same reason that you see a lot of Yankee and Red Sox and L*ker coverage.
Eh whatever, whether the media is acting stupid or not there are other QBs who deserve the attention more. Romo has been playing lights out compared to this kid.
Romo got a bunch of attention when he was an undrafted kid out of Iowa who was supposed to be a cross between Kurt Warner and Roger Staubach. This year he's already choked away a couple of games. This kid that everyone said couldn't play keeps shoving it in the face of those people, and you can't possibly think that there's a bigger story in the NFL right now than everyone crapping on this kid and he just keeps winning and being humble.
Cam Newton, Rodgers, and Romo are all better stories than Tim Game-Manager. When you score 13 points and win that's considered a Loss in most cities. Blah blah, I don't care because Total QBR exists now. Romo owns the hell out of TT and the people who say he chokes don't watch the games. This guy is tearing it up all season and deserves a lot more credit than some mediocre game manager. Also Romo is having a career year.
romo had a shaky start to the season but has rebounded nicely and isn't the reason they lost recently.
Thank goodness for this meltdown. I was tricked once with a 6 game win streak under McDaniels... not this time!
I don't know what you're talking about, only Tebow would be so clutch as to get two interceptions returned for touchdowns within 15 seconds of eachother in the final eight minutes.
Many of you probably already know this (there was a television commercial related to it during last year's Super Bowl). From an e-mail I had received:
My pastor went to seminary with Bob Tebow--here in Portland, at Western Seminary. Says he's an amazing man, that the entire family is remarkable. I just don't get why people want to root against this guy.
Cool, man. You should check this out: http://www.theelephantroom.com/portland-or/ http://www.theelephantroom.com/about/ BTW, do you know Gerry Breshears? He co-wrote a book with my pastor, Mark Driscoll:
I don't get the point of this story. The doctors were making decisions and recommendations on what was medically best for the patient. Not religiously, not morally but what was medically best. Do you want your doctor making decisions on your health care based on his or her religious beliefs? Did Mrs Tebow's doctors stop treating her when she told them they didn't want to terminate the pregnancy? How does Mrs Tebow know the doctors thought of her pregnancy only as a "mass of fetal tissue"?
Your link supports what I said, doctors recommended terminating the pregnancy to avoid further endangering her life. They didn't try and force an abortion on her. They made medically based recommendations for what was best for the patient at that time. Your link also provides a much more complete and accurate overview of what really happened.
Guess what? She lived. Yay! Perhaps, God allowed her to deliver Tim in the Philippines for a reason. She may very well have been forced to abort him had she been in the U.S. at the time.
I don't think anyone wants to root against Tebow, many people just think he is getting more media coverage and credit for wins then he deserves. I personally think the Tebow story is very interesting but I can totally understand somepeople being sick of it being the #1 story in the NFL this year when we have guys like Brees and Rodgers and heck even Alex Smith accomplishing far more on the field.
