Hey all...ABM tells me this place is worth it. Well, I am going to try and see if that's true. It can't be any worse than OLive...lol

Haha...ABM is awesome. But every forum has it's assclowns. Yet, nothing like OLive...Nothing.

I've been fine, especially since i left O-live. Nothing really new, and Sly is right, this place is much better than Oregonlive.
 
My advice would be turn and run.


It's always fun to see if we have a new myopic, or new negative Nellie
 
Thought's on Babbitt? Well, he's going to have to be ready. Let's see if can take what we learned from his time in China and use it this year. He's going to struggle a bit for sure, but let's hope his shooting will come around. We'll need it. We'll need our entire bench this year. More than ever.
 
I am not negative. Only when people start bitching about nothing and won't let it go. And I'll see for myself how much better it is than OLive before listening to a Mod. But knowing you are here too sioux, that makes it better already. :)

No fighting the power, just know who some of the "powers" are here and I'll just take care of things myself.
 
This place is lightly moderated. Enough to keep the place spam-free, mostly.

Just be yourself, stay on HCP's good side, and you'll be fine.

If only we could get the rest of the cool people from O-live like lanny to move over here, Jet and BigGameGreg could have the old place to themselves.
 
I think a few easy questions can be asked and answered by the Noob to see where he stands on the important topics

Team better with or without Roy?

Nate a good coach, or a bad coach

KP, wiz kid or overrated

Paul Allen, good owner or anti Christ

Should the team run or walk

Retire Roy's number or do not retire his number

Mrs HCP, better in missionary or from behind?

1) I am/was a huge Roy fan and believe a healthy Roy makes the team better. He's not here any longer, so it's a moot point.
2) I like Nate. He makes mistakes, but his work on the team has shown. He's never coached a healthy team, but has gotten the most out of what we have. This might be the best chance we see just how good of a coach he is. Short season, lots of games close to close...
3) KP did his part to help this team. He can't control injuries. He was a little too shy to pull the trigger on some deals, but overall, I think he was more of a "wizkid" than overrated. I think he was possibly just too "nice" as a GM.
4) Both. He has shown both sides. Which shows this year? Next offseason? TBD....But I like having a Billionaire for an owner. When he's excited and engaged into the team, good things can happen...when he doesn't listen to basketball people he puts in charge, bad things happen.
5) This team is now built to run more. So, fit the style with the players. Yet, you should be able to do halfcourt offense at times. To be one style nowadays, can burn you.
6) See answer to #1--I say retire it. Short career and we never got out of the first round, but it wasn't just his fault. His career was cut short, but the guy took advantage of the time he had and was a stand up person on and off the court. I think he came at an important time, took the leadership role without complaint (see how he handled Zach when he was here for starts) and did all he could for the team and the community.
7) I am married so I don't care. No offense HCP.
