    What I liked:

The ball movement was a lot better last night than it has been, even without Roy

Batum appears to have gotten better

    What I didn't like:

Rebounding was horrible. I don't think it will be an ongoing issue, but our rebounding tonight was bad

Jamaal Crawford. For whatever reason I didn't like his game, even though the stats sheet says he played great

Armon Johnson: He is terrible, and with Smith here there is no need to keep him

    What surprised me:

Elliott Williams. He tried to do a little too much, but his outside shot was money. Hopefully that continues

Raymond Felton. The fat man is really quick up the floor, and has great court vision

Overall it was great to see the team ACTUALLY push the damn ball. Nate has done this in the past where he will "commit" to pushing the ball more only to slow it down again a few games later. Hopefully this will continue the entire year, and not just in preseason

Pretty much sums up my feelings. Felton looked a lot better than I ever remember seeing him play. Part of that might have been because of a kind of terrible Jazz team and the paucity of actual professional point guards we've had in Portland in recent years, but he looked good.

I'll add one more "didn't like": Luke Babbitt ... oh my. That's all I can say.

I am kind of surprised that you guys are surprised at Felton. I know his Charlotte days were not heavely televised but since his first couple of years at Charlotte the guy has been a "solid" point guard. Not sure what his "PER" was (nor do I care) but the guy can ball. Not saying he will make the allstar game in the west, but he has been pretty good for a while now.

I've seen Felton plenty, which is why I've been a Wallace fan since before we traded for him -- I watch a lot of league pass -- Felton's mostly been a low percentage shooter and finisher with iffy instincts throughout his career. Last night he looked good and that was different than the version of Felton I was expecting to see

This exactly. Living in Houston, I am forced to have league pass to watch the Blazers. I have been able to see Felton plenty because of league pass, and was expecting something different than what I saw last night as well.

Then you are either young, or have tunnel vision. Babbitt is not that good, but not the worst ever.

Now get out of my thread before it's value goes down

The value is already fairly low because of all the other foreclosed threads on the market. You'll never get back what you put into it.

No, you find me a worse player. You ask too much work for so meaningless a task.

But you're posting on a Portland forum, where the market is saturated with shitty threads started by young unemployed hipsters who majored in history or psych :)

What your seeing now is an Inspired and experienced Raymond Felton. He's finally come to a destination that has a chance to win, the fans to back it, and a team first culture that he can get behind. Furthermore, he's been asked to be the leader.

I think we'll continue to see him play above average and be the glue to this team. All thanks to this Atmosphere (I doubt he's experienced anything like it)

Ah of course, until now the problem has been lack of atmosphere and culture ...
