I don't quite get it, but according to those who watch the practices, he never misses from 3pt land. In game, it seems like he never makes it. I think he needs to hang around with Elliot and borrow a hot cup of SWAG. I don't know if Babbitt will ever feel comfortable in games, but he does have the skill set to be a dead-eye from deep if he can figure shit out.

Babbitt is the NBA's version of Tim Tebow. He won't start hitting 3's until the regular season in the 4th qrt when the game is on the line
    - Something Mike Rice will probably say in the near future.

I just thought it was rude for one person to monopolize loving Oden when you know that deep down inside we all do.

Good for CJ. It's nice to see a D-league guy make enough of a mark to stick on a roster.

so you are saying I would get more than pennies on the dollar if I decided to sell my sweet Oden Jersey with black lettering and Numbers? It is sweet! $50 OB(etter)O! :)

Chris Johnson's two blocked shots in Game 3 earn him a nice payday this season. It helps that he doesn't seem to be a fluke, either.

It seemed silly to keep Barron around, everybody knew Chris Johnson had that last spot wrapped up. We cut the other training camp invites already. This way Barron has a chance to latch on to some other squad.

It will be interesting if Pryz wants to come back and is relatively healthy. I guess we would cut Armon if Paul Allen is ok losing $1.3 million on the swap and we would still be below the luxury tax. I know our payroll is very close to the luxury tax limit depending on exactly how much Oden's contract is. Or we could just keep the roster as is unless we get a big man injury and then consider bringing in Pryz at that time.

Armon's job was saved, not Babbitt or Chris Johnson. You have to have a certain number of big guys for practices. Our surplus is at guard and our shortage up front. Also where we historically have our injuries.

Earl Barron is not useless - but CJ certainly is better currently and still has room to grow. That was a no-brainer, really.

I think you don't do anything until an injury, then throw up the Batsignal for Joel.

Wrong. Last week, Chad said the final spot was between CJ and Barron. CJ won. Congrats to him.

I have to wonder if at one point Babbitt will make a few shots and BOOM, he becomes Matt Bullard/Robert Horry

I think they would've kept Barron if Armon's contract wasn't fully guaranteed.

Maybe Robert Horry RIGHT NOW, but not the Robert Horry of the Rockets or Lakers or even Spurs. Maybe BOOM he becomes Brian Cardinal.
