Well, not guaranteed, but getting a look with the T-Wolves: http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/wizards/timberwolves-sign-veteran-forward-bonzi-wells-rookie-guard-malcolm-lee/2011/12/15/gIQAYgRBwO_story.html
The page would not link to the article in the Star Press, but he said he saved some. As said in the other thread, everything I have been hearing from people back in Muncie about Bonzi has been positive.
Bonzi had a good final season in Sacramento, was probably their best player in the playoffs. Then he held out for more money because he was insulted by their ~$25million offer? What a fool. Minnesota is an intriguing team, they really don't have much at SG but are loaded at some other positions.
http://www.thestarpress.com/article...zi-Wells-treasuring-every-moment-NBA-comeback Great idea brining Bonzi in for camp. Probably will not make the team, but knows Adelman's system well and can act as an assistant coach.
I didn't think I'd see this again. Good luck to him. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3254;_ylt=Aoa9DqaDMiurQ56Ae03m.s4.PKB4
He played professionally in China for a few weeks and was averaging over 34 PPG, but came home during the Chinese New Year holiday and never went back. His Chinese team eventually voided his contract for failure to report. Guess he figured it wasn't worth it for the $80,000 annual salary they were paying him. BNM
Maybe he can reconnect with that Chinese team: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/basketball/nba/12/23/wolvez.bonzi.wells.ap/index.html?sct=nba_t2_a14
