amir johnson is dominating on both ends. ive never been a fan of bryon scott and his teams play thus far reinforces my belief that he just isnt that good.
Kyrie has been doo-doo. Amir looks like a beast, and the fact that we're up at half is giving me hope. Dwayne Casey is exactly what this team needed, I actually them players running out to contest, coming over to help out. D is becoming a part of these players.
im going to say something i havent said in years, caledron is the best player on the court. he's keeping irving in front of him, creating wide open shots for his teammates and hitting open jumpers.
ed davis plays enough minutes. but james johnson is a moron. this guy commits pointless fouls and is super turnover prone.
impressive win considering a new coach, new system and an abbreviated preseason were all working against the raptors. plus, they were on the road playing against a team who were probably motivated playing their season opener.
Damn, great win! Ed Davis was a beast, and Amir was going in. I do have to agree on Jose, he was a monster out there, but the Cavs are gonna be one of the worst teams in the NBA, worse than us so it seems. Still, 1-0...I'll take that any day.
Meh. In this league if you play hard defense you get fouls called on you. He does and does. We shouldn't be asking him to do anything but set screens and hit the occasional open jumper/offensive putback on O. 17-20 minutes isn't enough for Davis. He should be getting 30 and can't with Bargs ahead of him. Bargs needs to go.
davis was outplayed by tristin thompson. davis has 2 more years of college and 1 more year of nba on thompson.
I didn't get a chance to watch the game but going by just the boxscore, anyone who goes 7-7 should get more than 18 minutes not to mention 7 brds and 2 blocks
disagree. look tristin thompson won the +/- battle in their time played. thompson was all over the floor defensively.
i like the kid but amir and bargnani were in beast mode. i laughed when i heard amir was going for dpoy but last night justified such an assertion.
