GSW has a terrific back court, offensively. It'll be interesting to see how well Rip and Rose defend them.

Warriors, so far, are leaving Deng to double team Boozer - even when he doesn't have the ball ...

Game was tied at 16. Then coach took out Boozer and Rip and the Ws ran out to a 30-20 lead. Only a last second loose ball that ended up in Taj's hands, wide open, kept it under double digits at the end of Q1.

Omer, Brewer, and Taj look awful this early in the season.

Bulls down 14. Our entire bench has 5 points. Brewer has a bucket and is 1-4 from the FT line for 3 of those 5, and Taj has the other bucket at the end of Q1.

What is Thibs thinking? This is the lineup out there:
    Watson/Brewer/Taj/Boozer/Asik
    (that's 3 bigs)

If Ray Allen can, Rip should be able to.

This was a pretty easy loss to take. The Bulls obviously are not clicking yet and are committing too many turnovers. That will change. You have to like how well Rip played and the defense seems to be slowly improving. It may take a little time to get there, but this type of loss doesn't bother me.

.500 on the road is good in my book. But next game is against the Clippers and Vinnie.

    Rip didn't play enough.

How about the Rose/CJ backcourt? It was good until CJ tired.

And we're we nuts to talk about going after Ellis?

to trade parts for him, yes. Hes another Gordon thats not a straight jump shooter. they took alot of opportunities on our bad passes and slow shot taking (allowing easy rips). plus our backcourt would be too small. we caused some of those problems tonight posting up ellis with rip and brewer

Eh. It looks like Thibodeau's content to bring Rip along slowly. CJ was playing well. I'm going to applaud playing the starters fewer minutes this season, even if costs the team wins.

As per Monta, the timing of the sexual harassment allegations and trade rumors makes it seem like the two may be connected. I wouldn't be surprised if there were off the court reasons for why GSW was unable to move him last off season.

Ellis, or someone very much like him is exactly what we need.

Bottom line is we need a 2nd ball handler on the court who can create and get to the line ...otherwise Derrick Rose will have a shortened career. Against Indiana ,Miami and the Lakers on opening night we are seeing a pattern emerge as to how to blunt his impact ( game winner against the Lakers notwithstanding )

    Play Rose 35 , Rip 24 and Ellis 35

I'd trade Boozer for Big Baby, Duhon and the Magic's pick

Korver , Watson , the Charlotte pick , our pick and the Magic pick for Ellis

    Noah
    Baby
    Deng
    Rip
    Rose

    6th : Eliis

    Asik
    Gibson
    Brewer
    Butler
    Duhon

Ellis essentially becomes the team's scorer , Rose the 2nd scorer and Deng #3

Baby was one of the best ( and most intuitive defenders ) last season stepping out and plugging the lane to take the charge. He has a good face up J from the elbow and can bang in the post .

That team has a better chance of winning the championship IMO then this current team that looks like a 2nd round team that willover achieve if they go much further than that.

Cant' see the Waz making the trade through ...they've come to play .Pastor Mark has promised his flock a plentiful playoff bounty . Could be the stuff of water and wine or loaves and fishes .

Or Chicken Salad from Chicken Shit if you are Brent Barry.....

Still Pastor Mark has his congregation jacked

Stephan Curry is a quadruple-double threat. What a game he had. 21 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds, 6 steals.

I'm really happy for the Warriors and San Fran/Oakland. They deserve a winning a team after so many years of frustration. That Steph Curry and Monte Ellis backcourt looks like it will work just fine to me. Dorrell Wright got a slow start to his career, like so many preps to pros prospects, but I he broke out last season, and I think he's only going to build upon that. I was really worried about Mark Jackson too, as a rookie coach, but it looks, at least at this juncture, like he's going to be fine.

I hate big baby, heard he was too immature in the C's locker room.
