If only for a day, this is worth framing.

Wow nice!!!! Do you think we can keep up this pace? I don't care about being #1 or top 10, just the pace average....

It'll update after midnight PST or thereabouts ... but with 85 shots on goal and only 10 turnovers I'd wager it'll go down some (but their efficiency numbers should go up which is by far the more important stat).

You don't really understand the pace statistic apparently. It's just the number of possessions per game a team uses.

You didn't understand what I was getting at apparently. Good Defense = Steals, Def. Rebounds, and Turnovers which provide opportunities for fast breaks and an increased number of possessions at a higher pace.

7th in offensive efficiency too. Right above Miami, and right where we wanna be this season.

Sacramento had alittle bit to do with the rate going down. Seemed like they wanted everything to go thru Cousins and it was almost as if Evans was not even there.

Look for the Denver game to get our pace up.

Forcing turnovers can be part of good defense, but good defense is really just getting stops and forcing low percentage shots ... something that is pace independent.

It most certainly is not. It is generally understood that it is easier to run on a rebound. Good defense causes more missed shots, creating more defensive rebounds, and providing more opportunities to push the pace.

Bingo. This is why rebounding and our front line is so damn important/critical to our success.

For fuck's sake. All I'm trying to say is that without a commitment to pushing the pace any team can play great defense and still play at a snail's pace.
