The only reason LA is a better scorer is because he doesn't settle for the outside shot like Sheed did. LA is willing to try to get the ball in low post position and Sheed was reluctant to do so (or at least that is what I remember).

If Sheed had the desire like BRoy, or even LMA, he could arguably be the best PF of all time. I don't think I've ever seen that type of talent from a big man both defensively and offensively. He was a natural. He never hit the gym, EVER...

Dean Smith said Sheed was more talented than Jordan. Jordan just wanted it more.

Ya, ya, Sheed was great and all that, but when you always have to add the caveat "if he wanted it," that kind of screws up the whole thing. Even considering his defense, Sheed was never a top 15 player like LA.

He's a more versatile player and has every single big man move possible.

It's like saying BRoy would have been just as good as Wade or Kobe if only he had any cartilage left between the bones in his knees.

Or Outlaw could have been great if he only had an IQ higher than 7.

I kinda' disagree. I am glad Brandon has stayed away. These guys (LA) need to know this is the next step. Bring Brandon back midway thru the season and have a Roy night or something. Retire his jersey and all that, but for right now, this current team needs to move on. Rip that band-aid off fast!

And I kinda agree with you. It was good for him to stay away. This team needs to know it's LA's team. Absolutely do not retire a number of a player who played less than 5 seasons due to injury and never got us out of the first round
