I mean I really really hated shaq. Hated him leaving Orlando for purple and piss. I hated when he was able to pile drive over sabas. Man I was just all bitter about the guy. Then he left lakers. Hatred still in me, but it seemed to lighten up. But seeing him on TNT is so fucking entertaining. Now I love watching him. Him and Charles work really well together. Great addition to the turner family IMO.
He used to be my favorite player in the league, until he went to the urine and violet. Fucq Shaq. I had all the Shaq gear back in the day. In fact, my HS "most likely" was to "rap with Shaq". Then he stepped on my fandom by going to the team I hate the most in the NBA. screw him. I'll never be his fan.
He simply hilarious--if you like retarded bully laughter. Here's an IQ test you can administer: Ask someone whether they find him funny.
Irony. Small fish, big pond, also comes to mind regarding jlprk and his move here from ESPN, and why he seems so frustrated these days. That's a tangent, though.
Shaq has a quick wit. For that you have to love him. If you don't you probably aren't quick enough to keep up with him. Although you can still hate the man for his purple and piss days
Shaq's entire career was dependent on continual fraud by the league and a blind eye by the sports media. He's a fat tub of goo with fewer basketball skills than Mark Eaton had.
I thought, this is the funniest I've ever seen Shaq, until the end, the black and white part, when Shaq reverts to the type of humor he's known for, beating up Ernie. They ruined it with that.
I respect both but I like Kobe more. Very fun player to watch, and he used to be underrated in his prime. I still defend Shaq from some of his haters though. I'm a fair dude. :O
I hated what the refs let him get away with and the whole NBA star entitlement thing. The Sabonis treatment was an abomination, he deserved more respect than that and the refs just let it happen. The same shit is happening with Blake Griffin now, he can just push people out of the way (except Andre Miller) as long as he gets a highlight dunk. It's one of the major BS things about the Stern marketing plan.
