PATIENCE. It seems now that AI's trade value has been dropping, and the sixers may not find a better deal than what Danny is willing to offer. Let's break it down.<strike>Golden State</strike>: The Warriors have now expressed that they have no interest in pursuing AI. I guess Harrington was enough for the summer.<strike>Atlanta</strike>: Iverson would never report to Atlanta, so pretty much no matter how good the offer, this couldn't happen.<strike>Denver</strike>: King says he doesn't like what they have to offer bc theywanted younger players in return. Andre Miller and Nene wouldn't cut it.So this leaves Boston, and we know Ainge won't give up too much for him. Danny will be firm and i think eventually, he could get Iverson for cheaper than we all think.

I agree, and I think the base of the offer will be something like:Green, Wally, TA, Big Al ^^^^^^^^^^^^^I doubt Danny would give up all4 in the same trade, so it'll be a combination of 2-3 guysOr Ainge could wait until after the 60 day rule, and then add Telfair or Ratliff to the trade.I think the stock of Rondo is rising every 24 hours, and it'll be harder and harder for the Sixers to get him included in this trade..

This could be the case. Sixers fans better hope King isn't desperate to "unload" Iverson.

Nice Rondo sig by the way.

But I completely agree. That's what I love about Danny, his patience. I he wanted to, he could have pulled the trigger on a deal on draft night for AI, but we would have given up too much young talent. I think eventually something is going to happen with this team, Iverson or not, but Danny will do something semi-big this summer.

While all of us Celtic fans are tired of losing and are anxious to know what this big move is, I would rather wait until August 28th be able to trade Ratliff or whatnot, than just make a quick deal now and give up more than what we could if we wait. If something happens with Iverson to Boston, I think nothing will happen until 8/28/06 the earliest. Sure, I want to know what's going on as much as the next guy, but patience is the key right now for an Allen Iverson deal.

he really is a gret GM. I'm going to make a thread the involves a series of trades or whatever called "the path to a chamionship".

The Sixers already declined your offer. Maybe they dont want to trade AI? Have you pondered that yet?

they never declined it. They said they were shopping AI for better offers. And Boston clearly has the best offer available now.

Are you kidding? Atlanta gave Philly a much better offer than you guys did. Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, AND Al Harrington for AI. Philly would do so well in that trade, but since that Iverson really wants to win a ring, I guess that cancels Atlanta out. They gave a better offer than you guys, its just that AI doesnt want to go there.

Do you honestly think that Iverson would even consider reporting to Atlanta? Boston almost traded Paul Pierce last summer for NVE and the #3 pick (which would be used for Chris Paul). It would have happened, only Pierce said he would not report to portland, so it didn't work out.

I still dont thing that the Sixers want to trade Iverson that much. If they dont get a deal that they like, their not going to go for the best offer, but just dont do any deal at all..

there's a pretty good chance that AI will be traded. Some league officials said 65-70% if i remember right. And it's not like we're offering garbage for him.

Not really. Most fans have 1 favourite team. Your from Georgia, why do you bother with the Celtics?
