Even if I didn't know he was a fictional character, I could never be buds with him. He's way too full of himself and he's the meanest, most vile heavy I've ever read about. His "sins" eclipse any and all that mankind has committed. The more I studied the bible the more puzzled I was as to what anyone sees in him. He's presented basically as an asshole bully that torments and tortures people for no good reason at all other than they refuse to cower before him. If he was real, I might feel compelled to take him down.

ABM- A) Have you read and studied the ENTIRE Bible? B) Do you believe ALL of it as you say? C) Do you adhere to ALL of it? ALL of it? D) How do you CHOOSE to reconcile its inconsistencies? (Jesus contradicting the Old Testament)
Also, ABM, the Bible is a collection of writings by many people. Who decided what to include and what no to include in "The Bible" and how do we know those people were on the up and up? What exactly are you believing in? God didn't write the Bible and hand it down from the sky. At least in LDS, the Golden Plates were buried there by an actual angel!

The objective truth is that God exists (at least in some abstract form). Otherwise we wouldn't be talking about him.
nobody is talking about the concept of god. we are debating the existence of an actual god, or at least everyone but ABM is.
The concept clearly exists. It's also interesting that so many cultures have such a similar concept even though they existed vast distances from one another and had no contact with one another. As an objectivist, I can't say I believe in the existence of an actual god, but if you take a massive dose of LSD and try to read your scientific instruments, it's hard to say that's particularly objective. Meaning, the concept of "reality" needs to be part of the equation, IMO.
Hmm not quite. Relativity is flawed for different reasons, it's called Quantum Mechanics famz so this is not exactly news to anyone. My pops knows a lot more about Physics than you do too, he teaches this stuff. Also you use the word "theory" incorrectly. Saturn existing is not a "theory", the expansion of the universe is not a "theory", but the Big Bang is indeed a "theory". I don't think you understand the concept. You just said all Science is like global warming which is scary. Chill out dude, don't take it THAT far.
