Like i've been saying, i think Iverson's trade value has really dropped.Boston Receives:Allen IversonPhiladelphia Receives:Theo RatliffGerald GreenDelonte WestWhy for Boston?-Do i really have to explain this again? Why for Philadelphia?-They get talent in three positions, and Boston seems to be the best offer on the table.----------------------------------------------------------------------The Cs will then be pretty short-handed in the post. Here's an idea, kind of a long-shot, but here it goes:Boston Receives:Marcus CambyEduardo NajeraDenver Receives:Wally SzczerbiakBrian Scalabrine1st round pickWhy for Boston?-Camby is a great fit, he is a good double-double guy. Bad news, we all know he isn't dependable. Injury prone.-Najera is a great guy to have around on a contender. He hustles, rebounds, plays defense. The contract shouldn't matter. Why for Denver?-Like i said, this is a stretch. If Denver is this desperate for outside shooting, it might happen. Also, Denver may think of Camby as not dependable enough, and that might lower his value.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------LINE-UP:Sebastian Telfair/Rajon RondoAllen Iverson/Tony Allen/Allan RayPaul Pierce/Eduardo NajeraRyan Gomes/Al JeffersonMarcus Camby/Kendrick Perkins/Dwayne JonesCONCLUSION:This team would have about a five year window to win a championship, and i honestly think they could get pretty close. By that time, any of our young prospects (AL Jefferson, Rondo, Telfair, Gomes) could've REALLY blossomed. This team has alot of tools. They have offense, plenty of it i might add, they have defense, starting with the two enforcers in the middle. Rondo and Allen will be damn good perimeter defenders. Iverson and Pierce would be almost literally unguardable in the fourth quarter. Pierce said if he played with a superstar he'd be willing to cut down on his shots, and i'm sure AI would like to do the same, at a chance for a title. I think this team could actually go all the way.
The Iverson deal is possible and is a deal that has most likely been discussed by Ainge/King. The 2nd one wouldn't happen. But is this a championship team anyway? Ehh, a contender, but not a guarentee. Either way we aren't getting Camby, especially for that. Also - trade board?
I'm gonna keep it in here, it could go in either forum.Anyways, AI, could happen. Camby, would not happen.
yeah i thought the Camby one was a stretch. It's just that a solid Center would be our only need after that imo. i'll try to think of a better second deal. :winkglasses:
