With three rookie defensemen in their lineup, the Nashville Predators were looking for anything other than a close, tight game. But goalie Pekka Rinne and the rest of the Predators held it together and outlasted the slumping Minnesota Wild in a 2-1 shootout victory on Wednesday night.
