<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Isiah Thomas had a conversation recently with Denver about Kenyon Martin, according to a league source, but talks went nowhere because the Nuggets only want expiring contracts. Thomas is not interested in adding another $70 million in payroll unless he can get rid of Steve Francis or Jerome James along the way</div>LMAO I started laughing when I read this. Sounds just like old Isiah to want to add another horrible contract. I won't be suprised if he still gets Martin w/o getting rid of Francis or James.http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives...ing_for_martin/
I just really help hope he isn't gonna trade Rose for him. I guess Rose would be ok for the Nuggets but his deal is expiring and that is the only thing that can fix the Knicks is time. Would you Nuggets fans want Rose back?
He needs to get some real talent with some fine contracts if he is interested in cleaning this team up.

Now he has to make due with whatever he has.
He should start sending some of his players for expiring contracts...He already has Jalen Rose, so I would hold on to Jalen. Jalen's contract expires after 06-07.
Am i the only one that finds this hilarious?? He's just looking for more lazy players with huge contracts. I swear to god this guy has no intention of winning.

I don't think any player could turn a franchise like this around. The thing that were saying is funny though is Isiah is going after another player w/ a huge contract that he doesn't deserve.
I said "your joking right???" lol its not like I had no idea at all he was kidding. plus its hard to pick up sarcasm on forums sometimes.

Yea why not bring in Martins big *ss contract so stupid. I still can't believe he was not fired yet.
haha, the guys above him are idiots too. But he was told he has one year to turn around the franchise. yeah, good luck with that.

And they better mean start to turn around the franchise, because it will take years to turn it around fully. :yahoo: Sixers atleast can fight for last now, and not just win it by a land slide. :HAHAHA:
