It's definitely a big void. There is no balance when Crawford is running the point. Running the break has been fugly. Though, it's such a small sample size I'd like to see Crawford looking to score rather than creating for others.

Kirk Hinrich: Has fallen off a bit since leaving Chicago but is a defender on an expiring contract: $8m

DJ Augustin: The future there is Kemba Walker. Solid player and shooter. Could even push Felton as the future starting PG. Expiring deal: $3m (QO) | 24 yeas old | 38% 3pt

Smith doesn't look close to being ready. This is an important position to fill if the Blazers want to make real noise in the playoffs.

See, I'm wondering if we could make a couple deals to put us into immediate contention out west. Seems like there's a big void after the Thunder. Lakers suck, Mavs suck, who is the clear number 2? Clippers? Memphis? San Antonio? There are some struggling vet teams out there that might be willing to move some deals, but we would have to go into "win now" mode and sacrifice our cap space this summer and maybe some young guys. :dunno:

We've had Sergio, Jack, Blanky, Bayless, Patty Cakes and Armon Johnson in that role the last 5 years. I'm of the opinion that Jamal is a tremendous upgrade.

Do you like Chuckford better? The guy is a complete chucker, so it has to be in there somewhere. Chuckal Crawford? Jamchuck Crawford. Please let me know because I am all about pleasing people. And while it is 100% ok for it to get personal in here, you might be a happier person if you simply place me on ignore?

Also, while he is playing a lot of PG, my impression is that Nate's told him he has a green light. And he's good enough (streaky enough?) that he has to be guarded. Unlike some of our previous guards, having Chuckalicious out there keeps some semblance of spacing out of respect for his J, and he can actually take it inside and get some FTs if his shot isn't falling.

Uh let me see, I believe he was brought in to be a SCORER off the bench and in the second unit because we had a huge weakness there, I'd say so far he is doing his job, get a clue

What needs to be dumbed down for me is this

    1. Why posts like yours are allowed? It is a direct personal attack out of nowhere, that ruins the forum experience for some people

    2. Why you insist on directing your answers at me in insult form?

    3. Why you don't put me on ignore if you don't like what I post?

That is what is too complicated for me to understand

Actually, I think you're on to something with Chuckal, but you should probably expand it to "Chuck-all". Seems fitting.

PG is definitely NOT a problem with this team. What we need is depth at center. I don't think we have the financial flexibility to address the issue though.

I think Crawford is a good combo-guard. DJ would be a good backup PG to, but I wouldn't want to give up anything substantial for him. Maybe some draft picks. I don't think any of our scrubs, like Babbit, Armon Johnson, or Nolan Smith would be very enticing to them.

It's like Eric's "I just had sex with an NBA player" all over again

On a serious note, it's a curse being as polarizing as I am. You'd think these people that don't like me would ignore me?

If they pay you in Best Buy coupons and Cheesecake Factory gift certificates, does that make you "easy?"
