I believe we still have the BAE, but its only for about $2 million. But we could give him a 2 year deal for $4 million with a player opt out. Ya know, now that I actually think about it; his salary will be prorated for NBA regular season games played, so if he isn't able to sign until March he probably doesn't care at all about this years salary since it'll be so tiny. I have NEVER liked the guy, but I would like the addition. He gives us another defender and another vet that gives us toughness. Martin is exactly the kind of guy you want on your team in the playoffs. If we add him I'll really like the toughness of this team. We were soft as charmin a few years back, but now we could pretty much bully just about any team in the league.
If we get him, I wonder if we'd be the oldest average team in the league. We have sure changed our roster a lot over the last 3 years! Just look at it, the only guy that is the same from our "KP Cake Bake would-be Dynasty" is LaMarcus Aldridge!
