Clippers gave up too much for Paul. Caman and Gordon were key scorers and with them and the emerging Bledsoe, the Clippers were on the rise. Now, they have no shooting guard or backup center. Is this year's Clippers team any better than last year's Hornets team? Butler is overrated. Mavs won the title without him.

No, that would be Wade/Bosh/LeBron according to themselves.

    On a serious note, it's be Magic/Worthy/Kareem

The Lakers were not just a "trio". It is called depth.

Byron Scott (10+ win shares in title 5) and AC green had more win shares than Kareem at the end.

Then they had Jamaal Wilkes with 10 win shares in the first title, complimented by Norm Nixon.

They were definitely the trio. The others were great role players. Since this was posted, I have been trying to think where today's "Big 3's" would rank during everyone's prime. MAYBE top 10?

And you back this bullshit up with what exactly?

Lol dude, I get it you don't like Miami. Byron Scott is still better than Kareem and Worthy wasn't even on those early teams.

Byron Scott is better than Kareem? I'm not sure how to respond to that? Yes, I hate the Heat, but I am really good at looking at things objectively.

    Yes he was 40, lol.

Sorry but Zombie Kareem isn't better than an all-star caliber player in his prime.

People get older and they lose their skill.

We are out of sync? No we aren't. We're just missing wide open 3 pointers. That is the difference in this game right now. We are 2-22 from 3. Denver is playing us tough like they always do, but we are clanking wide open 3's.

Bynum is fucking beasting. Stay fucking healthy, please.

2-2 with a loss at Sac. Early season, you guys a re a bit out of sinc. It wasn't meant to be an insult.

    Vagynum looks good.

I am also happy to see Stern still wants the L*kers to compete for a title. Lot's of Bullshit calls down the stretch

Nuggets choking it away. Oh well, more distance between us and them in division.

I thought you meant this game, not in the season overall. Well yeah, I agree then, we look out of sync. A new offense, new coaching staff, and a plethora of new rotation players.

For Lakers' fans sake, hopefully Drew stays healthy.

    Bynum looked great.

Rudy is now sandbagging it in Denver.

Bynum needs to stay healthy and the Lakers' need to stay committed to running it through the post.

Bynum staying healthy is like saying Oden hasn't been injury prone.

    retired, while you work!
When Jabbar retired, they never won another championship until years later with Kobe and Shaq. He played superstar defense till the end, and it doesn't show in the stats. All the johnny-come-latelies talk about is his skyhook, but that was the least important part of his game.
