hopefully Telfair. :nasty:but i will probably say Tyson Chandler. I don't think he has alot of pressure offensively playing with David West. So he will be able to focus more on what he does best, and i think he will do alot better offensively with Chris Paul.
Wow, I was thinking Tyson Chandler too. First off, Peja wasn't traded Tony. That's two misses in two posts.Anyway, Tyson Chandler will raise his scoring average with Chris Paul, and his defense will be just as good out in the West coast. He may still be an undersized Center, but the West isn't as big and bad as it used to be.
I think Telfair will be awesome in our offense. He gets to be the floor general and generate plays that he's comfortable with. He's able to run (he's exceptionally effective in a running game, much like we play) and be the facilitator. I can't wait to see him in green. I just think the situation in Boston is 10x better than Portland. On top of the reasons I already stated, he gets Doc who is a player's coach. McMillan is a structured guy that demands that the game be played his way. Doc will "let Bassy loose" if you will. But I agree with nba dogmatist on Chandler as well. He and Hilton Armstrong are going to really help out that team in the low post. We already know Chandler can defend, block shots, and rebound. He will do that, plus his offensive game should look a little bit better playing with Chris Paul. I'm real excited to see how this Hornets team does next year.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nba dogmatist @ Jul 12 2006, 09:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>he's not undersized. He's 7'1". He may be a little skinny, but i don't call that undersized.</div>I think players' size is vastly overrated a lot of the time. I mean look at KG. Paul Pierce weighs more than KG, and Pierce is a combo wing while KG is a 7 footer (or 6'11'' - whatever). Ben Wallace is 6'8''-6'9'' and he dominates as a center. Ryan Gomes is about the same height as Pierce and he handles the low post extremely well. It's not alway about size, it's how you play the game.
TJ Ford. I think he will be in a much more confertible environment with a superstar like Bosh to work with, and a good offensive player in Mo Pete. Also, he won't have Mo Williams chasing him up a tree for minutes. He will have Jose Calderon though lol.Plus, that was only has 2nd season. He will get even better, and post better numbers too playing with a superstar like Bosh, and getting more minutes, he's pretty much bound to get a boost on his numbers..

Vlad Radmonovic. He's defense it not bad but it's not terribly good either. A little above average at the PF position. But on offense he'll be getting a TON of open 3s from Kobe and Lamar and triangle offense. Even Smush said " my assists will go up by 2 or 3 next year just kicking it out to Vlad for the 3".Also when Kobe has his rare offnight Vlad will just create for himself. He can either shoot over his defender or drive right past him. I'm really excited about Vlad and I think he'll have a career year in the triangle offense which he already played in Europe BTW.
Could be JR Smith, although he might suffer for minutes in Chicago. Is Foye an option? He was traded twice in the first twenty minutes of his career. That will probably fuel his performance, at least against the Celtics and Blazers.
I think this means which players will improve, and make more of an impact. I dont think Foye really counts because he has never played in the NBA yet.

Not as long as they have Ben Gordon, Thabo Sefolosha, Luol Deng, Andres Nocioni, and even some Hinrich/Thomas on the wings. No way Smith gets any more than 7-8 mpg in Chicago. That was a bad situation for him.
I think Smith could be sent in a package to get KG or another good big man...Chicago is already loaded at the 2 spot. My pick is TJ Ford. He is put in a pretty good situation in Toronto even if it isnt a winning environment. But they have so much potential as a team, and Ford has many options he could dish it off to on that team (Bosh, Bargnani, Peterson, Graham, etc.). I'm predicting that his averages will boost a little from when he was in Milwaukee, something around 15 ppg and 7 apg.

I didn't read the entire thread, but the answer to this question should be extremely obvious: John Salmons. If the deal goes down and he goes to PHX, he will unfortunately have a breakout year. He will fit in well in their up-tempo system, and will flourish.
I disagree. I think Salmons won't be anything special in Phoenix. He will probably play limited time, bc they will see that he disrupts the flow of the offense with his "iso's". In case you can't tell, i don't like Salmons at all.haha, i still remember when he tried to take someone off the dribble, and he had the ball at his ankles, Tony Allen came from behind him and stole the ball through his legs. :HAHAHA: that play pretty much won boston the game.

Haha, thanks Phx!
I must say, Phoenix has had a pretty bad off-season so far. First they give up Rondo, possibly the steal of the draft, for a future pick, they trade Rodriguez for cash. They sign Pike, then they sign Salmons. booo! :thumbdn1:
