Carlos Boozer isn't interested in winning over his critics. He's interested in something else.

    "To win," he said.

The Chicago Bulls figure to do plenty of that, particularly if he keeps playing like this.

Boozer scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and the Bulls coasted in their home opener, pounding the Memphis Grizzlies 104-64 on Sunday night.

17 points, 11 rebounds in like 22 minutes. Who?

    Trade fodder for Kevin Love?

But seriously folks. I'll be here all week, try the veal. I'm still hating on Carlos Boozer and will ignore all evidence that he's having a good season, at least for a while.

Maybe it helped that they passed him the ball.

    Passing is fundamental.

But I was surprised to see Carlos in the highlights running the fast break. I think his commitment to losing some weight and participating in the running game is opening things up for him.

He was sluggish last year for much of the year. Injuries never let him get going, and his lack-a-daisical approach to defense was glaring. That seems to have changed, and he's a "part of the team, part of the crew".

Him and Brewer, along with a healthy Noah and the addition of Rip are potentially a source of significant improvement this year.

    Go Bulls!
