Phoenix Coyotes forward Raffi Torres has been suspended two games without pay for charging Minnesota Wild defenseman Nate Prosser.

The NHL made the announcement Monday, saying Torres will forfeit $42,682.93. He hit Prosser from behind during the first period of Phoenix's 4-2 victory Saturday night, though no penalty was called on the play.
