I've been looking at some of the younger players in the league and players in HS or college and it has made me think. Are we going into another dominant era??? I mean just listing some of the plyers that are still decently young or very young there's so much incredible talent. I'm not expecting anything like the 80s and early 90s but still the players that come to mind could make this a very good era.Greg OdenLeBron JamesDwyane WadeDwight HowardAmare StoudamireKobe Bryant is still decently youngOJ MayoKevin DurhantRudy GayAndrea BargnaniTyrus ThomasThose are just the ones off the top of my head. There really is a lot of players who have the talent to be stars in the league. I'm really excited to see where the league is in 5 years.
WTF? How in the hell did you not mention:Chris BoshKirk HinrichBrandon RoyAdam MorrisonAndre IguodalaChanning FryeAndrew BynumGerald GreenMartell WebsterTJ FordRaymond FeltonEmeka OkaforDelonte Westetc. etc. etc.Let's just put it this way, the young talent we have in our league now is unbelievable and I am extremely excited that I am growing up with it.
We've seen a portion of the greatness we'll see.. 3 guys putting up 30+, Gilbert coming up close, and with the new talent from the drafts... it's crazy. It's pretty damn amazing
yes, we are, and i LOVE it. Half of today's all-stars are like 25 or younger. We're about to enter some great years in the nba.btw, there has been like 10 topics on this before.
Andrew Bogut...cough cough cough cough.... It's great having all these stars in the game...but without any rivalries it won't mean much and it doesn't look like it will happen.

I was also just listing the main ones that came to mind.

I miss the rivalries. Heat-Knicks, Lakers-Kings, etc. Rivalries are one of the most important things in sports for me.
Yes, but they will be riuvals trying to win the ECF for years to come. I also think that that will be a good rivalry. They are both friends, but when 2 superstars battle it out in the same conference, you know there is going to be a potential rivalry.
Suns-Lakers now that it isn't the Lakers always winning. Dallas-SA, Nash-Cuban, LeBron-Wade. There are so many great players and rivalries are being built.

No need to talk to me like that I was just listing the names that came to my head. I mean God look when I posted this. It was almost 1 in the morning. I'm not going to be thinking 100%.
Just pointing it out :happy0144:You shouldnt leave out greater players then the players you named. Thats why I said that. And Celticballa said the same thing, except you retort at me, not him.
Because I already explained once to him then you say the same thing plus he didnt say it the way you did which made it sound like I made a horrible post.

We aren't just heading into a great era, were heading into what might be the best ever. As you can probably tell, the game changes as the years go by, since the league has started players have only gotten better and better. There is SO much talent in the league right now it's amazing, all these young players look alot more then just promising right now. While the west seems to have the better conference now, the east has the better youth and will soon beat out the west.We have Kobe who is really just starting his prime averaging 35 points per game, LeBron leading his team to a game 7 in the conference semis, Wade leading his team in the finals, the future of the league is looking great right now with all this talent. Even players who have been in the league for a while like Pierce, McGrady, Carter, Dirk are still young themselves. This next era isn't just going to be "great", it's possibly going to go down as one of the best ever.
