We will start having more vets wanting to come to PDX. If we keep it going, I wouldnt be surprised that PDX becomes another on the list of deron Williams, rondo, and Howard.

    Winning will make us relavent.

Could be. I'm happy with our current roster though.

the big problem is this team is a 1 year rental. its not like all these guys are coming back for a few years.

    its bitter sweet...

felton, wallace, crawford, camby will all likely be gone

Yes....but they'll have money to sign other players. I can see Camby coming back at a big discount. Perhaps we can make a run at one of the superstars that's a FA this offseason.

Of course, that's only if we keep winning, which we won't obviously.

if i were the blazers I'd be looking into finding a trade for a center or pg of future while dangling Wallace and Felton if it brought back a star PG.

That's the whole argument against ever blowing up a team. Proponents say, just be bad for a season, then sign FAs. Trouble is, no good ones want to come, once you ruin your team. The way to get them is to not blow up your team in the first place. So you get stuck having to build forever through the draft.

P.S. How can a CEO of 2 corporations not know how to spell relevant?

Lol cause I can't spell. That's what spell check is for. Guess it didn't work in this case.

I totally agree with u about the other parts of the post.

I think it's a little naive` to think that there's going to be a bull-rush of big name free agents clamoring to get to Portland if they win some games. I know this is going to come as a huge shock to some of you, but typically urban, mostly African-American players don't usually like playing/living in bad weather cities, with not much to do and a 90% white population and high state taxes.

U haven't seen how expensive it is to live in California. Also I said "if we keeping winning like this" not saying its happening now.

At least Cali has nicer weather, more to do and more supplemental income opportunities (through marketing/merchandising). I love Portland, but if I was a young, rich black man, this would be about number 100 on my top 30 places to live.
