Bosh will follow Lebron, and Wade to sign a 3 year deal. three-year deal extension with the Raptors worth an estimated $40 million plus, with a player option in the summer of 2010 to take the deal into a fourth season and hike the value of the contract into the $60 million range. <u>Link: </u> http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2517752I think this is a great smart move to do like Lebron. What do you all think?

It's good to see that someone with such talent and potential stays loyal to his team through thick and thin. I just hope he doesnt waste his talent on a team that won't be doing any playoff damage soon. Hopefully that's not the case

Well.. we expected a 5-year deal but I guess a 3-year deal is fine. And yes, he is very loyal to Toronto

I don't like these three year deals at all...they will put tons of pressure on these teams to win and get players right away....

It seems as though this guy will stick with this team for a long time. He's clearly staying for the money, though.

LeBron's agent was smart and now all the others are following his lead. [IMG]

Worth every penny :beerchug:That is actually cheap. I'm glad Chris Bosh doesnt want to bankrupt the Raptors by asking for a huge contract! But yeah, we already knew about this like 2 months ago..I just cant wait until he puts pen on paper :beerchug:

I think that it's great that Bosh is staying with the Raptors and all of these players are following Lebron by example, signing 3 year deals. They obviously want to stay with their respective teams and besides, they get money they deserve in the end anyways (i.e. Bosh, Wade, Lebron). Plus, Bosh is having a really good career in Toronto so far, hopefully, it only goes up from here. :beerchug:

And his family told him are you crazy to consider the 3 year thing instead. They told him to take the 5 year max.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (JoshBosh @ Jul 15 2006, 08:43 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>If anyone's intersted in watching the Bosh press conference regarding the extension.. it's on raptors.com</div>Thank you I will check it out.

I think that Bosh will have a long career in toronto, and I am sure he is happy about the young talent around him. He want lamarcus in the draft though right? I see him as a lot like Garnett, but he has a GM who knows what he is doing.

And his gm is better, but if he does not get it done to get a good team that can win around Bosh then I am sure after the contract is over Bosh would give a big thought about leaving.
