Andre gets so little respect around here. My only real complaints with Miller were his age and his lack of shooting. At everything else I don't think there's much of a debate between he and Felton as setup men; Miller is pretty clearly the better player. This doesn't mean I don't like Felton, he's OK and this team could do a lot worse.

Wow, we agree about something regarding Miller!

Felton is playing better man defense than Miller ever did. Miller would come up with some savvy veteran steals once in awhile, but Felton actually stays in front of his man, for the most part.

Westbrook certainly had 3 big games against Dre, but over the long haul I certainly wouldn't call it abuse. Compare with how Westbrook does against Felton.

:dunno: Depends on what you think is more important.

Felton is a better defender. Some nights, he is a better shooter - but not consistently. In terms of playmaking/decision making, Miller wins hands down.

You do know Felton is shooting 19% from three right? I'm hoping he goes back to his usual 30% self...

BTW, that Aldridge article is great. I miss Andre. :(

I'm happy with Felton. He fits this team like a glove. Those transition lay-ins from end to end last night were nice.

And he's not gonna keep blowing those easy lay-ups he was doing the first 4 games. Once that happens, then he becomes that much deadlier.

You would think, but I wouldn't call it a guarantee. He sorta looks like the Felton I remember from his first 3 or 4 years in the league, but there's hope.

No, what you hate is that you envy me on every level. The fact that I'm better looking then you........ smarter then you........and I hook up with your wife and sister and you can't do anything about it. THAT is what you hate.

Maybe in your family hooking up with your own sister is acceptable, but I doubt that beerboy cares if you hooked up with his sister.

Dre is definitely better at certain things...but fuck that he plays for the thuggets. Raymond Felton is our point guard and he's better! Ya

I thought Felton was key against the Lakers. He pushed the pace constantly, and while he still missed some layups (even Gerald was in the first half - that I saw, because I wasn't watching on TV) he also made some tough ones in traffic. He (along with Wallace) really set the tone.

If you can handle the good with the bad then Felton is great for this team. You just have to be able to accept that to get the good there is going to be some bad. Just like if you are going to consistently run then you are going to have more turnovers (usually anyway but last night was amazing!) But the good usually will outweigh the bad.
