Oh how I wish in some bizzaro world that this meant that Oden was coming back soon but I know better than that.

How could we have traded the great Martell Webster for Babbitt and Gomes!

Actually this saddens me. It's the final nail confirming we wasted the entire 2010 draft. We'll get nothing for them. They'll be throw-ins in the next trade, so it'll look like we got something, but not really. Pritchard did nothing each year till draft day, hanging his legacy on some very bad drafting.

Webster was no better than these guys at first, but coaches spent years on him and he evolved to where he could fail for a few minutes each game. The roster has improved and there are no holes in the roster anymore that we can keep open for 5 years.

We don't need Nik to tell us anymore that they suck. It's official now. Each player took 2 tours in the D-League as rookies, and each was kicked down there only 1 week into their 2nd seasons. Wow. 3 times already for each. Just leave them there all season.

Hunh. And here I thought that sending a player down to the D-League was meant to let them get some playing time and improve their game. Apparently, I was wrong and it means that they just flat out suck. What's "waiving" for again?

I agree with this. If the two of them can hang out in the D and dominate the dojo together, maybe some other team will consider them an intriguing trade package to be included in a trade. Right now, they have no value; D-league all-stars might be thought to be worth something.

Can we trade either or both of them for a top57 protected 2nd round pick?

Sending them to Idaho is a worse punishment than waiving them.

Is it true that for the Stampede, "per diem" means a shovel, a fry pan, and directions to the nearest highway? :devilwink:

That's crazy. Event Luke is not in shape to play 48 minutes every game.

That's exactly the thought I had ... I also glanced at the box and noticed what a low percentage Babbitt shot. Is it lack of confidence or just lack of skill (or both)?
