With the AI rumors seeming to die away, they have been revived. It still deems as though Danny Ainge is strongly pursuing Iverson, and Drew Gooden and the Cavs are having alot of trouble negotiating a contract., The cavs say they do not want to lose him for nothing. I think they could be the third team. I'm hoping something like this will go down:Boston trades Wally Szczerbiak, Sebastian Telfair, Tony Allen, and Minnesota's pick for Iverson.Philly trades Allen Iverson and Steven Hunter for Drew Gooden, Tony Allen, Sebastian Telfair and Minnesota's pick.Cleveland trades Drew Gooden and Ira Newble for Steven Hunter and Wally Szczerbiak.
Cleveland would love to have Hunter, they need a backup to Z bad. On the other hand not sure they wanna add Wally's contract. Do the salaries match up for this? Not sure Philly would be that happy with this.
yeah, looking back, philly does get ripped. Replace Ta with Green. And the salaries are hard to tell if they'd match, bc we don't know what Drew Gooden will get payed.
nba dogmatist - this is the 2nd post I have seen you make on other boards that should be on the trade board lol. Not trying to sound like a jerk, but put this stuff in the trade board man.I have also heard that Cleveland wouldn't get involved unless they could get Delonte in the deal.

We get ripped. :thumbdn1:
Yea we do Jefferson, Green atleast one of those we should get, but that better come with a good first rounder one of the top picks. If the pick is not one of the top ones then we better get both Green, and Jefferson.DO NOT TRADE AI JUST TO TRADE HIM

Read the rules thread. it's pinned at the top. It says that rumors go here, ideas go there.

Wally Szczerbiak is an older, more expensive version of Kyle Korver, who by the way the Sixers are shopping, so why would we want that?

Alot of people obviously don't know about what Wally really brings to a team. I didn't know until he was a Celtic. He brings all the intangibles you can think of. And he's not just a shooter. He's a decent rebounder, an underrated defender, he always makes the extra pass, he's always encouraging teammates, he posts up smaller defenders, he takes what the defense gives him, i don't think i saw him force two shots in his entire season with Boston. He's tough, he cares about winning, he's the epitomy of a team player. I love him, but i don't think he can really cut it as a second option. He would be used to fill salary.
